SSM College of Engineering, today, on April 29, 2023, organised farewell to Ex-Director NIT Srinagar, Dr. Rakesh Sehgal in view of his retirement from the institution. Dr. Rakesh Sehgal, his wife and HOD Physics department, NIT Srinagar attended the farewell event. The achievements and work done by Dr Sehgal during his tenure of 5 and a half years, his inspiring journey was praised throughout by the speakers of the event. Dr. Shah, HOD Physics department, NIT Srinagar praised and acknowledged all the work done by Dr. Sehgal and expressed his gratitude to Dr. Sehgal.

Mrs Sehgal also blessed the event with some inspirational words of wisdom.

Dr. Sehgal, the chief guest, enlightened the occasion with his presence and his insightful speech wherein he expressed gratitude to one and all and encouraged the students with his inspiring words.
