Exchange of ideas amongst students

An interdepartmental discussion competition was organized today, June 29th, 2024, on the topic “War and Peace.” Students from all the engineering departments, business school and the department of applied sciences & humanities enthusiastically participated, sharing their diverse perspectives on this critical issue. The debate was conducted in two sessions, allowing ample opportunity for students to delve into the topic’s intricacies. Discussions highlighted the role of the economy in contemporary wars and the profound consequences endured by ordinary people as a result. All the speakers emphasized that prioritizing peace is essential for leading a happy and contented life, advocating for a world where harmony and understanding prevail over conflict.
